I signed up because I enjoy trying new things and I wanted to see what this site was all about.

Describe yourself

I'm Alexis.
I'm a social butterfly and an night owl. I like people who have something to communicate, anything unique and previously unexpressed. I admire change and variety. I can be fickle and selfish. I tend to be sarcastic and nostalgic. My most beautiful flaw would have to be my idealism. I dream more than I actually do and would like to reverse this within the next few years. A lot of the time I am afraid that what I want or strive for is either unattainable or something I could never do as well as someone else. I have decided I am not going to let doubt of any kind stand in my way any longer. I am a fairly spiritual and emotional person. I can find almost anything interesting. I like details and learning from experience or another person rather than just site sources. I believe life is about the experience and the interaction. I believe it is bittersweet. I try to appreciate both aspects. I adore simple things. I love that life can make you laugh and cry simultaneously. I love cats, walking, having a job, having my own apartment, buying my own groceries and making my own dinner. Coffee, conversations, and friends are my favorite things. Art and culture are very important to me as well as philosophy and literature and general philanthropy. I love music and movies. I'm rather fond of photography and writing. I have the captivity to have love and hate for something simultaneously and I always seem to have a battle of some kind inside of me. I used to really dislike my height and my ears but I have grown to believe they are a natural part of me and if I was any other way I would not be me. I think everyone and everything has some kind of purpose and I truly desire to find mine. I'd like to travel around the united states and live outside of my car. I'd like write more. I'd like to paint and draw more. I'd like to loose my addiction to certain aspects of the internet. I'd like to decide something and to go through with it. I want to be fearless like I used to be. I want to be full of all the confidence and grace that I used to have when I was a child. Sometimes I wish I were but you can't have that and you can never go back so I'd much rather just grow more comfortable in my own skin.
